challenge
Reverence needed a brand that authentically reflected its founder’s exacting architectural standards and collaborative personality—while clearly differentiating the firm in a crowded, design-forward residential market.
solution
I worked closely with founder Daryl Nourse to define a clear brand point of view, then translated it into a refined yet approachable voice and visual system that balances rigor, warmth, and curiosity.
Based in Bozeman, Montana, Reverence Architects designs custom homes that integrate luxury, lifestyle, and landscape with unusual care. The firm is led by architect Daryl Nourse, whose two decades of experience are matched by a genuinely collaborative, detail-driven approach to working with clients.

While serving as a fractional creative director at Hardy Brands, I partnered with Daryl to help my team articulate a brand that felt true to how the firm actually operates. The challenge wasn’t just visual polish—it was expressing a philosophy of practice: attentive, precise, curious, and deeply respectful of both people and place.
We developed a brand framework grounded in those values, then used it to guide messaging, tone, and visual direction. The result is a brand that feels polished but never cold, nerdy but never rigid—one that reflects the joy of problem-solving and the seriousness of building well.
The finished identity gives Reverence a clear, confident presence in the market while supporting long-term growth. It attracts clients who value intentional design and trust-based relationships, and it provides an internal compass for a firm committed to excellence, curiosity, and craft.
