Long-term brand stewardship for a global education nonprofit.

challenge
Iqra Fund is a nonprofit expanding access to quality education for girls in some of the most remote mountain communities in northern Pakistan. As the organization grew—adding schools, teachers, scholarship programs, and capital projects—it needed a brand system that could scale with it. The challenge was to maintain clarity and credibility across a widening range of programs and audiences, while honoring the cultural context and long-term nature of the work on the ground.
solution
I partnered with Iqra Fund beginning in 2011, designing the organization’s original logo and first website, and later leading a rebrand and new website as its scope expanded. Since then, I’ve provided ongoing creative direction across donor communications, impact reports, and program collateral. This long-term partnership has helped ensure a consistent, flexible brand presence—one that evolves alongside the organization while clearly communicating its mission, theory of change, and growing impact to a global audience.
Today, Iqra Fund supports thousands of first-generation students across 22 village schools, employs and trains nearly 200 teachers, and provides scholarships to women pursuing higher education—many of whom return to their communities as educators and health professionals.

The brand system we’ve developed together now supports transparent donor reporting, program growth, and long-term storytelling—helping Iqra Fund clearly communicate its theory of change and the scale of its impact while remaining grounded in dignity, trust, and community leadership.
